About the Therapist

I have been a therapist since 2015, working in both medical settings—supporting individuals with serious health conditions and their families—and private practice, where I’ve worked with individuals, youth, couples, and families.
My path to counseling began after a transformative time at L’Abri Fellowship in Switzerland, where I found mentors who listened to my deep questions about family, faith, and identity. That experience shaped my passion for creating a space where others feel heard, supported, and empowered on their own journeys.

My Approach

Life can be incredibly difficult, and seeking support makes perfect sense. My role is to help you untangle the complicated thoughts, emotions, and patterns that leave you feeling stuck. I want to help you find the freedom to think, feel, speak, and act in alignment with who you truly are. But real change takes courage and hard work.

Therapy isn’t always easy. At times, it may feel uncomfortable. But healing happens through the process, not by avoiding it. What I offer is trust, hope, and a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll uncover insights and move toward a life of greater freedom and authenticity.

Many of my clients come to therapy in seasons of transition—whether adjusting to a new phase of life, recovering from illness or health struggles, or confronting long-standing narratives shaped by faith, family, or cultural expectations. These moments can feel disorienting, but they also hold the potential for deep transformation. My role is to walk alongside you as a guide, helping you navigate these crossroads with honesty, courage, and self-compassion.
Counseling for Individuals & Couples

Relationships—with ourselves and others—shape our lives in profound ways. Whether you’re navigating personal struggles or challenges within a partnership, therapy offers a space for growth, understanding, and healing.

For couples, relationships can bring both deep joy and deep pain. When communication breaks down, trust is shaken, or conflict feels like an endless loop, it can be overwhelming. Seeking help isn’t a sign of failure; it’s a commitment to something better. In therapy, both partners are heard, valued, and understood. Together, we’ll work to rebuild trust, improve communication, and create a stronger, more fulfilling connection.

For individuals, life’s challenges can feel isolating. As M. Scott Peck writes, “Life is difficult.” That truth resonates because it’s real. And realness is at the heart of my work as a therapist. You don’t have to perform or pretend with me—I’m here to help you navigate life’s struggles with honesty and compassion. Therapy isn’t about labels or diagnoses; it’s about understanding where you are and what you need. Whether it’s finding courage to face fears, strength to set boundaries, or clarity in a confusing season, I’ll support you in discovering the path that works for you.

If you’re looking for a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and the life you want to build, I’d love to help you on that journey.

Trained In:

I am also familiar with:

While all of these models of therapy have their strengths I believe that the most important factor that contributes to positive change is the relationship between the client and the counselor. The relationship that I seek to establish with my clients is one of commitment, respect, and love. A mentor of mine once told me, “What has been broken in relationship can only be healed in relationship”. I seek to establish a relationship with my clients that fosters healing.
