Anxiety Therapy in Bend, Oregon

When your mind won’t quiet down. Racing thoughts at 2am. A knot in your chest before work. Avoiding things you used to enjoy because the “what ifs” got too loud. Anxiety is the most common reason people reach out to us – and one of the most treatable.

What anxiety can look like

Anxiety isn’t only panic attacks. It shows up as constant worry that won’t switch off, irritability, trouble sleeping, muscle tension and headaches, overthinking every decision, dreading social situations, or the quiet exhaustion of holding it together all day. If some of that sounds familiar, you don’t need a diagnosis in hand to reach out – that’s our job to sort out together.

How we treat it

Our therapists use approaches with strong evidence behind them for anxiety – including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to unhook the thought patterns that feed worry, grounding and mindfulness-based techniques for the body’s alarm system, and somatic approaches for the physical side of anxiety. Sessions are weekly at first for most people. Many start noticing changes within the first several weeks, though everyone’s pace is different.
