About the Therapist

Hi, I am Virginia. It is nice to meet you! I have worked in various community and private practice settings as a psychotherapist. I am passionate about empowering others with applicable tools for living more meaningful lives. It is a priority of mine that you feel understood, connected, and engaged in the therapeutic process with it being an effective and productive experience for you. My theoretical orientations include person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapies. I am LGBTQIA+ aligned. Bottom line: You are the expert on your life and you have a right to thrive.

My clients have included those experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and other issues. I enjoy working with adult individuals, couples, and groups. I have a Master of Counseling in a Clinical Mental Health Counselor from Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Conflict and Dispute Resolution from the University of Oregon.

For couples therapy, I utilize the Gottman Method and have completed Level 1 training to better aid couples in communicating their wants, needs and goals with each other. In my down time, I am working out, developing new spoken language skill sets and spoiling my fur babies. I would be honored to be a part of your therapy journey. Let’s get started!
