Online Therapy Across Oregon
Therapy that fits where you are. Bend Mental Wellness provides counseling to clients across the entire state of Oregon through secure telehealth – and if meeting face-to-face matters to you, in-person appointments are available through our providers in Bend and Portland.
How online therapy works with us
If you live in Sisters, Redmond, La Pine, or anywhere else in Oregon without easy access to a therapist, telehealth means the drive is no longer the deciding factor.
Prefer to meet in person?
Two of our providers see clients face-to-face at their own practice offices: Jeanette Small in Bend, and Kevin Freeny in Portland. You can read more about each of them – and what they help with – on our Providers page.
Getting started
All you need for online sessions is a private space and an internet connection. We accept most major insurance plans – see our Billing & Insurance page for specifics, or contact us and we’ll help you check your coverage.
Common Questions About Online Therapy
Is online therapy covered by insurance?
Most plans cover telehealth the same as in-person visits. Coverage varies by plan, so we’ll verify your specific benefits before your first session.
Do I have to live in Bend?
No. Our providers see clients by telehealth anywhere in Oregon.
Can I switch between online and in-person?
If you’re working with a provider who offers both, yes — talk with them about what fits.
What do I need for an online session?
A private space and an internet connection. We’ll send a secure link before your appointment; there is nothing to install.
